“It will take a special combination of courage, conviction, and determination to lead our great country out of its worst fiscal crisis in memory, and Thomas Massie has all of the qualities necessary to make sure the job gets done,” said NTUCF President Duane Parde. “These qualities, along with his experience in county government and his work as a taxpayer activist, mean that Thomas Massie will be prepared both in the upcoming lame duck session and in the 113th Congress to help lead the long journey back to economic prosperity.”
The organization further noted that Massie’s opponent Bill Adkins supports an agenda that will overburden taxpayers in the 4th District.
“Thomas Massie’s voice on behalf of limited, common-sense government is needed now more than ever in Washington, which is why Kentuckians are so fortunate to be able to elect him for the remainder of 2012 as well as the next two years,” Parde concluded. “Massie will be a hard worker for taxpayers, and NTUCF is proud to endorse him.”
Massie said in response to the endorsement, “I am honored and grateful to receive the recognition of the National Taxpayers Union, and I will work tirelessly to promote our shared vision of economic freedom, lower taxes, and smaller government.”
The National Taxpayers Union has worked to protect American people’s right to keep what they’ve earned for the last four decades. The organization has over 362,000 current members.
Massie has also received the endorsements of both the Club for Growth and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
