Kentuckians for the Right to Bear Arms prefers Massie, commits to Fourth District outreach
In its letter, KRBA president Norman Davis stated that the organization’s board members opined that the endorsement by a Kentucky-based gun-rights group carries significant weight concerning who will best represent Kentuckians, in particular fourth district residents. In addition, Davis wrote that the KRBA would perform outreach beneficial to Massie’s bid for the Republican nomination in the GOP primary to be held on Tuesday, April 22nd.
In response to the KRBA endorsement, Massie released the following statement:
“The KRBA is among the most respected Second Amendment rights groups in the Commonwealth and I am privileged to accept their meaningful endorsement. As a proud gun owner and unflinching defender of others’ individual right to keep and bear arms, I take the responsibility to reverse the national trend of eroding Second Amendment rights quite seriously. If voters place their trust in me in the upcoming election, as congressman I will defend gun ownership and advance Second Amendment rights rather than join the disturbing tide of curtailing them.”
